Balanoglossuscarnosus are capable of moving, butslowly, though its cilia and also peristalsis of the proboscis (Filmati diMare, 2012). The proboscis goes forward and anchors, allowing the collar andtrunk to be pulled forward also (Marques,undated). Repetition of this cycle allowsmovement of the animal (Marques, undated). It also presents another way of movement that is whilethey are digging the substrate (Marques,undated).
